We really enjoy collaborating with local businesses to raise awareness of the work of the Centre and let them know how we can support working people living with a neurological condition or caring for someone who does.  Airbus is a big local employer, and we were delighted when they contacted us to see if we'd like to work with a team of interns and graduates on a joint project. 

The result of this has been a highly successful Showcase event at the Wings Club in Broughton on the 6th June. Louise and Beth demonstrated a range of our physical therapies, with attendees participating, then Beth did a short mindfulness session to close the day and help everyone chill out after the exercise. Lots of people came along, including Airbus employees, and people who'd seen the event on our website and on Facebook.

In the weeks before the event, the Airbus team came to the Centre and filmed some of our members telling their stories and how membership of the Centre has benefitted them. These videos are being put on our YouTube channel, as well as across our social channels, and you can watch them here.

We're hoping that the Showcase will become a regular event, and the team would love to add to the videos available - if you'd like to tell your story and take part in the ongoing project, just let Jen know at the Centre or by e-mail .
