Andy Porter is the husband of Kathy, one of our Members, who has been attending the Centre for ten years. He has recently taken on the Coniston 14 Road Race for the second time in aid of the Neuro Therapy Centre.

The challenge involves running the 14.1 miles around Coniston Water, negotiating the contours of the surrounding hills (the run has a total ascent of 1000 feet!) as you go - quite a challenge!

Andy raised over £1,000 for the Centre - we're so grateful to him for undertaking this challenge on our behalf. Why not give him and the Centre your support?

As well as being a runner Andy is also a poet and has written and recorded a poem about taking part, have a listen below.

We're incredibly grateful to Andy, and all the people who supported and sponsored him. If this inspires you to set yourself your own fundraising challenge, please contact [email protected] and we'll give you all the support you need.
