What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows the Neuro Therapy Centre to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you. This means your donations and membership fees can go further and help us do even more good work.

How Does Gift Aid Work?

If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can opt to add Gift Aid to your donations. We can then claim back the basic rate of tax you’ve already paid on your donation from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). For example, if you donate £10, we can claim an additional £2.50, making your total donation worth £12.50.  If you donate £100, we can claim another £25.  As you can imagine, this can boost our funding considerably if everyone who is eligible can sign up.

To be eligible for Gift Aid, you must be a UK taxpayer, and have filled in a declaration from the Centre that gives your name, address, and confirmation that you want the Centre to claim Gift Aid on your behalf. If you haven’t already filled in a form, ask for one at Reception, or you should find some in the information files on the tables in the café.  Alternatively, you can download and print one here.

If you make donations online, if you are eligible please tick the box on the form as you make your donation.
